Florida Dental Hygienist Associations

RDH associations can help hygienists by providing them with a platform to connect, collaborate, and advocate for the dental industry. Here are just a few reasons why you should join a hygienist association.

  • Professional Development
  • Networking Opportunities
  • Continuing Education (CE) Courses
  • Support and Recognition
  • Community Engagement

Florida Dental Hygienist Associations

The Florida Dental Hygienists’ Association (FDHA) has more than 12,000 members who actively practice in the state of Florida. They focus on continuing education and support programs to enrich the community.

The Northeast Florida Dental Hygienists’ Association supports 13 counties in the northeast (Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flager, Hamilton, Lafayette, Nassau, Putnam, St. Johns, Suwannee, and Union) by providing continuing education (CE) courses for hygienists throughout the year.

The South Florida Dental Hygienists’ Association (SFDHA) supports the Miami-Dade, Broward, Colier, and Monroe Counties by increasing awareness and improving access to dental hygiene. They also host continuing education courses for dental hygienists.
